Stand Firm
When the Battle Comes, Don’t Run
Ephesians 6:13 (ESV)
“Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm.”
Devotional
Life isn’t a playground—it’s a battlefield. And in Christ, you’ve been equipped to stand.
You don’t need to run. You don’t need to cower. You need to stand firm in the armor God gave you.
Some days, victory is simply not giving up. And if you’ve done all you can—stand. God fights with you.
Takeaway of the Day
• “Take up the whole armor…” – What pieces of God’s armor are you neglecting?
• “In the evil day…” – What is your battle right now?
• “Stand firm…” – Are you standing, or sitting in fear?
Prayer
Father, help me put on Your armor today. Strengthen me to stand firm in truth, righteousness, and faith. I will not back down. I trust You. Amen.
